The Companions of Dorothy the Worker were hosted this year at The Castro Street Fair by The Church of The Advent of Christ The King and members of The Society of Saint Francis, the Anglican Franciscan Friars. We are so delighted and pleased to partner in ministry with others. In a time of increased violence and harassment against queer bodies AND souls, it is important to resist the aggressions and microaggressions committed against us in the name of religion.

In addition to seeing so many of our friends, partners and supporters, we look forward to meeting our fur friends and their humans, offering blessings, and celebrating the vitality of this gathered community. This year, in response to escalation of harassment and violence in the name of Christianity, The Companions have worked to create a response, that is nonviolent, joyfilled, and fun, the DISCO Response Team!
